The Architecture, Interiors and Designs of Studio 5b are very personal in the reflection of the individual concepts and the location. We take a passionate interest in every project that we produce. Through an in-depth communication process we strive to develop a clear and dynamic thought process right from the onset. Each project offers new challenges that require teamwork and personalities to formalize holistic designs that are pleasing to the senses. Function and form are two themes that are essential in the successful realization of place and shape.

In our studio we adopt a sensitive approach to the selection of materials and textures used throughout our projects. We utilize the best materials suited to each individual project, be they the most specialized or locally manufactured. Through a comprehensive understanding of ‘genus loci’ we blend volumes and forms that co-exist with the environment, creating unison between the natural and the built environment.

Through a close interaction and in-depth communication process we develop relationships with our clients. We are the point of contact for the client, allowing open dialog on all matters pertaining to that particular client and project. By adopting various means of presentation; Graphic, Computer Aided, Card Models and such like we strive to formalize projects that are of the highest standard and quality. We operate as your independent professional team managing, quality, time and cost.

Design is about people and personalities. How we react to spaces and places determines our moods. By attempting to harness this energy we try to create environments that are soothing to the senses. The aesthetic of space is defined by the interaction between solid and void. It is in the details and principles of that we identify the ‘whole.’ By using refined design principals, elegant forms and precise details we make every effort to create places and spaces that have their own individual personality and atmosphere.
